Tishia Merlo - Owner
After many years in the financial field from an accountant at a large corporation to mortgage broker, I have found my passion in bookkeeping. I have been doing bookkeeping for the last 15 years and find a lot of enjoyment in helping people not only keep organized, but manage their cash flow. I have my Associate’s degree in Business from Santa Rosa Junior College and received my Bachelor of Science in Finance from Sonoma State University in 1999. Shortly thereafter I got my Broker License in Real Estate, which is my other passion. Seeing people get into the home of their dreams is so rewarding. On a personal level I am the mother of two beautiful girls who I just finished raising as a single mom. I live a well-balanced life and find great satisfaction in helping people do the same.
Trina Brannan - Assistant Bookkeeper
Hello, my name is Trina Brannen. I have been happily married for nearly 20 years and am finally enjoying life as an empty nester of four wonderful children. My favorite hobbies revolve around two things I love most—food and travel. Born and raised in Santa Rosa, I also love spending time relaxing by our backyard pool and soaking up the beautiful Sonoma County sunshine.
With more than 40 years of office experience, I have a strong passion for organization, efficiency, and client service. My goal is to help our clients feel confident and supported. I believe open communication is essential to keeping businesses running smoothly and giving clients peace of mind, knowing that the details are being handled. I want every client to feel valued, understood, and appreciated.

Amaya Riddell - Assistant Bookkeeper/Office Manager
Hi!, Im Amaya, Born in Sonoma County, and raised in Lake County, I love supporting the local businesses that make our community so special. As a bookkeeper and payroll specialist with Merlo Financial Services, I work closely with restaurant owners and small businesses to help keep the behind-the-scenes details organized so they can focus on what they do best.
While most people run from spreadsheets, I've always been the person who gets excited about balancing accounts, solving payroll puzzles, and making sure everything is in its proper place.
My favorite part of this job is building relationships with our clients. Whether I'm answering questions, tackling a payroll issue, or helping make sense of the numbers, I want every client to feel supported, valued, and confident that someone has their back.
When I'm not in the office, you'll usually find me enjoying everything Sonoma County has to offer. Trying new restaurants, spending time with my husband and our fur babies, soaking up sunshine at the coast, or making memories with family and friends! I look forward to getting to know you and helping your business thrive!
