Tishia Merlo - Owner
After many years in the financial field from an accountant at a large corporation to mortgage broker, I have found my passion in bookkeeping. I have been doing bookkeeping for the last 15 years and find a lot of enjoyment in helping people not only keep organized, but manage their cash flow. I have my Associate’s degree in Business from Santa Rosa Junior College and received my Bachelor of Science in Finance from Sonoma State University in 1999. Shortly thereafter I got my Broker License in Real Estate, which is my other passion. Seeing people get into the home of their dreams is so rewarding. On a personal level I am the mother of two beautiful girls who I just finished raising as a single mom. I live a well-balanced life and find great satisfaction in helping people do the same.
Trina Brannan - Assistant Bookkeeper
Hello, my name is Trina Brannen. I am a wife of 16 years and finally empty nesters of 4 children. My favorite hobbies are all things food related and traveling with my husband. I was born and raised right here in Santa Rosa, and I love spending time relaxing in our backyard pool and appreciating the Sonoma County sunshine.
My 25 years of office experience is a great asset. I enjoy organizing, filing, and making sure that the office runs efficiently. I strive to keep our clients feeling successful. It is imperative to maintain open communication with our clients to keep their business running smoothly and their minds at ease, that things are being taken care of. I want every client to feel special, understood, and valued, that is very important to me.
Working with Tishia at Merlo Financial Services, LLC was an answer to my prayers. From the day I was interviewed back in 2021, I knew that this is the place I wanted to work. Hello! I'm Amaya, I live here in Santa Rosa with my husband and fur babies. I love everything Santa Rosa and Sonoma County has to offer from the beach, to margaritas, to all the endless fun summer activities, I feel like I've found the right place to call home.
I have worked at Merlo Fianacial Services for over a year now. I have an Associates Degree in Business Management with my focus being on accounting and financials. Some may call me crazy, but numbers are fun to work with! I love working in the accounting industry as I get to help people become successful business owners on a day-to-day basis, and that is so rewarding!
